I just installed the Whipple FMIC on my 2019 raptor and very happy with it, only take me 1hr to get the job done. I think Shelby raptor using it too!
Yes the Shelby branded Whipple mounts in the stock location with all louver function intact. Got one for sale if someone wants $400 shipped.

Installed my Mishimoto IC the other day and wow what a difference the stock ecu must of been pulling back and is now adjusting. I come from other turbo platforms and have never seen an intercooler make so much of a difference. Butt dyno can feel it big time. I highly recommend an intercooler upgrade.

Any modifications to shudders or anywhere else?

If I remember correctly, that is a stock replacement but is it a direct replacement without any modifications?

Also doesn't that one have a drain?

It has a drain, stock location, keeps stock fans and everything no modifying shudders just have to remove one piece of plastic trim behind shutters. I love it.

I have the Mishimoto IC, and I agree with Sixshooter. Other than removing the piece of plastic trim that merely guides air to the stock IC (the stock IC is smaller, and the plastic trim keeps the "tunnel" intact without losing air around the stock IC), everything stays in place. The Mishimoto even has a nice rubber flange around the sides and edge that after install you can see fits nicely up against the IC gap in the front end.

If you go with the Mishimoto, the only two tips I'll add are: 1) put the IC and fan assembly up as a unit; you won't be able to get the fan assembly over the thicker IC once it's in position. You'll see how it stacks when you have it apart. 2) Have some spare IC clamps on hand. One of mine from the factory was stripped and mangled, and damn it if I didn't have that size in my parts collection. So having some on hand is helpful, and they'll probably be of better quality than the stock ones.

Otherwise, I consider the Mishi a direct bolt-in replacement. All of my shutters work fine without any hitting. Working great.

per installation guide
NOTE: The fans on the Raptor model will not be reused.

not sure if this matters much

also looks like a lot of trimming is required for this IC

You also have to cut the ends off of the upper support plate, (trimming you mentioned?), remove the gray clip for the bypass recirculation tube and remove the white secondary lock from the inside of the connector to expose the terminal locks. Use a small pick or terminal tool and remove the terminals from the connector.

It's ironic how they state this:

"No trimming or modification"

Yet you have to cut and modify.

I have no problem modifying any thing if I choose to do so but it would **** me off to purchase something like this believing their up front statement but it's also naive not to dig a little deeper to get the real picture.

I just wish manufacturers would be honest upfront.

Part of the louvered air duct needs to be removed. This duct is clipped into place. Carefully unclip this duct extension and remove it from the truck.

even more...
