My wipers park about 1" above this strip...makes me wonder if it will do anything? If I adjust the wipers down so that they will sit on the heated strips then it will limit their travel on the other end...seems like a bad design...is this how yours is?

Mine seemed to work as designed with the truck parked outside overnight this past winter but I do tend to remote start and let the vehicle warm up for 10-15 minutes.

I would wait for the tech package just for the adaptive cruise control now that it has the stop and go feature and it is a pretty awesome feature if you drive in bumper to bumper traffic where you live. Set it to 20 mph or higher, adjust the gap distance to the closest setting, and let the truck do the rest! It will speed you up, slow you down, and bring you to a complete stop while keeping a one car length distance from the vehicle in front of you.

I work at KTP making the SuperDuty and EXP/NAV. I oversee Navigator production, so I am quite familiar with the ford production process as well as having access to PUMA Mahle and IDS, along with Forscan of course.

I found one with everything sub the tech package and went ahead and picked it up, got a good deal locally on it.

If I can add the adaptive cruise control it would be cool, but I can always trade in and up here in a year or so as well.
