Rear bed wiring

While I was doing the brakes on my truck today, I noticed a cut wire in the passenger side rear wheel well. Anyone know where this wire goes/does?

looks to be on the passenger side. there arent any oem wires that run on the passenger side there. im guessing it was probably something someone ran for aux lighting or something similiar

so I chased that wire back and it ran to a switch by the OBD port. seems the previous owner must have had a whip installed, which would also explain why the box cap had a hole lol.
