Find a Raptor that has it from the factory. I can't imagine it's easy, cheap, or even possible to add it.

Once you have owned a vehicle with adaptive cruise you will never, ever own a vehicle without it again. IMO adaptive cruise is the best invention since ABS and Airbags.

Raptor is my 3rd vehicle w/ adaptive cruise.

I'm still glad I got the tech package, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't. Had to turn off rain sensing wipers the first week because they didn't work. YMMV.
Yep my rain sensing wipers were going off all day yesterday in 97 degree sunshine.

I love tech package, but like said above, rain sense wipers suck.

Yeah the rain sensing wipers sometimes work like they're supposed to and other times they have a mind of their own.

For the most part on my truck they work well, maybe the have adaptive learning built into them.

I think Lane Departure is worse. I do like adaptive cruise and auto dimming headlights.

On my 2019 I can turn it off with the button and it will stay off until I turn it back on like when I might be tired. Not sure if this is doable on earlier models.

skip the tech package. lane sensing picks up tar and thinks it a line, auto wipers go off if your windshield is dusty, auto high beams turn off when there is a reflective sign, and jury is still out on the adaptive cruise. I only got it because my 2018 came with everything i wanted plus the tech package and i was too much of a kid wanting my truck now so i got it instead of waiting. oh and the HUD - a bunch of flashy red lights when your truck thinks that car way off in the distance with its break lights lit up will cause a front end collision. mine's gone off twice so far and each time scares the **** outta me causing me to swerve

I for one agree to tech your truck out from the factory. As all systems on these things are tied together I would never let any local dealer try to install it. They would surely screw something up and of course it would not be their fault. Order what you want and get it all if you even think you might like it. At least you’ll have it and for those who might sell it later it’s worth a bit more money. Just my opinion & 2 cents on the subject.

Yes I figured out how to turn it off soon after buying it.

I finally found an Oxford white with the blue accent recaros that had all my wish list with the exception of the tech package add on. My question is I see a thread over on the f150 forum of adding adaptive cruise control to a xlt package. Just curious since we do have a quite a bit more features default with the 802a what all in addition would be required. I’m family with forscan and have the reader for it, but since our trucks have auto hi beams and other options already just curious what’s involved to add lane departure, heads up display, etc

I can't believe I didn't think to do this... I live in panhandle FL so trains a lot. I use rain-x, so really use the word anyway. It is adding when they go high speed when you just want an intermittent wipe. Haha

Someone retrofitted folding mirrors along with the blind spot and has a vid for it on youtube. Also talked about waiting on a harness for the adaptive cruise control. So I guess it's doable.
But since ur buying a new one, I'd wait for the right one.
