Help! Anyone know what this is?

i found this hanging under truck in front of passenger side wheel well and it appears to be something to do with LED lights or maybe Nav or Radio??? I am stumped! See pictures

its a ballast for an hid headlight.

are these factory OEM if not how can I upgrade and can I remove these and just reinstall factory bulbs? Thank you!

Nope not OEM. The OEM HID ballast mounts to the bottom of the HID headlight housings.

Looking at your posts it appears that you have a 2011 truck. As I recall Ford did not add the HID headlights until 2013. So if you want to go Ford OEM parts you would have to get some other bits such as the Morimoto HID Adapter, and then still switch out to the correct ballast, all assuming you have housings that are setup for this, and contain the wires. Likely not going to be inexpensive.
