Any updates? Does it work with Method NV 17inch wheel?

I believe they do. I highly recommend that you give Doug Parks from Evil Manufacturing a call. He helped with the r&d process. I ordered mine last weekend. Tell him Eric sent you.

I’m interested in the R1 Concepts BBK. Can anyone confirm if they will fit on VenomRex VR602 17” wheels? Do they require any other mods like tie rods?

I sent over a brake template to VenomRex and they stated that their wheel will not clear the R1 BBK.... If anyone has questions regarding wheel fitment, send me a PM and I can most likely verify quickly due to having installed and sold over 30 of these kits...

Any performance update on these brakes?

R1 has brake stopping charts available upon request... From a real world test in the Salt Flats using 3 trucks, one with the BBK, one with upgraded rotors and pads, and one stock truck we did multiple 70 to 0 stops and the R1 BBK was stopping a good 30-35 feet sooner than the upgraded truck and a good 50-60 feet sooner than the truck with stock brakes....

That seems like alot of money for a 17" compatible kit made in China... I hope it's not mostly cosmetic.

I wonder what Alcon are priced at?

They do look good but not for $5500.

Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

The kits retails at $4330 and yes R1 is a China based company but the calipers and rotors are made here in the US and unlike the Alcons which are cast Calipers, the R1 kit is CNC Machined and it also come with a Machined Hat and Cast Rotor versus the Alcon Kit which is a complete Cast Rotor...

And to add to this I was also part of the R&D Process while working at ADD for the Alcon Kit and the R1 Kit is Far Superior is Machining, fitment, rotor size, and the ability to do a dual input rear caliper for a Drift Brake is cool too....

Just got my R1Concept BBK today. A big thanks Doug Parks out at Evil Manufacturing; in addition to R1Concept. These bad boys are freakin’ awesome. I’m hoping to install them next weekend.

Brakes look great. Glad to see they offer a version without drilled rotors. With a truck this heavy I can only imagine those are prone to fractures. Definitely will consider these in the future. I know they will look good behind my Signature Wheels
