Just had the race series put on and don't have a clue how to adjust them. I assume to open you turn the valve counter clockwise? Fox really needs to put out a video or something on how to adjust these shocks for greenhorns like myself.

How would the 3.0's compare to say as Zero-X from a snowmobile in terms of the rebuild process? Been doing the sleds for year but have never attempted anything on a truck. I would imagine it's the same basic process clamp, release nitrogen, open up, drain, inspect and refill.
The front Factory Series 3.0 Internal Bypass Coil-Over shocks use a thread-in bearing (where the shaft enters the shock), and will therefore be more difficult to rebuild. If the oil is fully drained it can be especially difficult to get the air out of the shock and set the IFP (internal floating piston) correctly because of the remote reservoir setup.

The rear Factory Series 3.0 Bypass shocks are basic mono-tube shocks with the addition of bypass tubes, and are fairly basic to rebuild, although once again it can be tricky to get all the air out and set the IFP correctly.

It is highly recommended that you have one of our FOX technicians service the shocks. These techs are servicing and rebuilding all of the top offroad race teams shocks on a daily basis, so you know the job was done right.

I just had the front and rear shocks installed a few weeks ago, would it be possible to drive down to El Cajon to have one of your technicians show me the basic adjustment settings for offroading and street driving?
Thanks Iooking forward to your reply.

Apologize for bumping an old thread but great read.

Been contemplating about getting Fox 3.0 DSC/QAB for my gen 1. It’s 90% a pavement truck with occasional trips to Mexico.
