Has anyone heard of a tune update coming from Whipple?

I recently inquired about any recent updates and was told they have a update coming out in a few days which will provide factory updates, more power, and a smoother power band.

I haven’t heard anything for a long time so if that’s true that’s great

It should shift a few seconds after it sees you aren’t applying as much throttle. It does this to give you instant throttle response should you go to get on the gas again. Saving it from having to downshift to get you back into that power range. If you start driving around normally it won’t do that. It will only start holding them longer when you start rippin. That’s how mine drives anyway

That's what my Whippled 6.2L does as well.

You have to learn how the truck drives, and at the same time it's trying to learn your driving.
It's a adaptive PCM it will try to predict the next move but if your driving changes it will have to learn that as well, it will take a few miles.

Any update on this? Seriously considering moving to MPT in the near future. I emailed Whipple recently to ask about tune updates, and other questions, but got the typical lack of response.

I just received the updated tune and you can tell it significantly pulls much harder over the 3K RPM range.

Also noticed the transmission is smooth when changing gears this is for both up shift or downshift.

I had their tune on a 2017 , but I didn’t like the fact you couldn’t go back to your very own ORIGINAL stock tune . Makes it a very hard choice for my 19

Still waiting to receive the tune update from a Whipple. Emails have been going on since around Memorial Day ish. Classic Whipple experience.

Anyway, running MPT 93-PRX now and so far I am absolutely loving it. Put OEM plugs gapped to OEM spec back in. Drives like a completely different truck!
