Musty A/C Odor

I was having the same issue. I replaced the cabin filter and it did make a difference.

@Sunchild714 how many miles were you at when you noticed the problem and replaced the filter? I'm closing in on 5 months but only about 3300 miles. Thanks!

I used an ozone machine off Amazon when the wife's jeep had this. Worked well for $50 and I have used it for other things since.

@Kahuna can you provide some more details on the model if you remember and how you used it?

The model I bought is not on there anymore.

I closed up the Jeep and let the machine run inside for like an hour then I switched the car on and let it idle with the fan/airco on full/recirc with the machine on again. Let it run for like 20/30 min. Then I put the ozone machine back on for another hour with the car off. Left it overnight and then opened it up in the morning to air out.

get a better aftermarket cabin filter. Run your a/c on recirc for about a week.

after that the smell should be gone, well unless you're the funky one.

Does the Raptor come from the factory with a cabin filter installed? The last Ford we bought has a spot for a cabin filter but did not come from the factory with one installed.
