I have a 2017 Gen 2. I have bought new sensors as well, still I keep getting the two DTC CODES.

Has anyone been thru this.

Try changing gasoline brands , see if it goes away. Once every few months i would happen to fill up with Shell gas and 50 miles or so later i would get catalyst effciancy codes every time.

I got those exact same codes a while back and took it under warranty turns out I broke a sensor and something else on a run but they fixed it under warranty.

PLEASE enlighten me. How is it you are getting codes. The question is not about any particular code, how is it you get codes period? I have no idea if Ive ever gotten any kind of code at all. Are you running a diagnostic somehow? Does our truck tell us there is a code? How are you getting codes, regardless codes of "what", just codes. what am I missing?

I had exactly the same problem. Was getting the Yellow "Service Engine Soon" idiot light. Took it in and the Dealer ran the codes and got P0420 and P0430 which they said indicate the Catalytic Converters were bad--both of them. No one believed that since the truck had less than 10k miles on it. So, they reset the codes, but a couple of weeks later they came on again, and stayed on. Went through this several times, taking the truck back to the Dealer multiple times where they checked everything including the O2 Sensors. Finally, they just replaced the two Catalytic Converters under warranty. I mentioned the O2 Sensors but they told me the sensors for the Catalytic Converters were integral to the Catalytic Converters. Since then no Service Engine Light.

Only thing anyone can figure is I was getting most of my gas at a Commercial Station that sold Non Ethanol Gas. They sell lots of Regular, but probably very little Premium, which is what I was using. Possible they got contaminants in the Premium Tank which because it didn't turn much I was continuing to use. I now buy gas (Premium Ethanol) from stations where I know they get lots of turn on their Premium Tanks. Usually it's Shell.

Most of the time P0420 and P0430 codes are cat related. We see alot of people change their O2 sensors hoping it will fix the issue and end up getting new cats. Your car should still be covered under warranty so don't worry about it and bring it to the dealer.

Hi Guys thanks for your feed back. Bit I am in south america. The ford dealers doesnt know Jack shit in reagrds to anything.

Here we import vehikels from the USA and drive them . So warranty we don’t get. I guess ill have to buy new catalytic converter and see if the issue goes away.

Thanks you

Check your owners manual, some emission equipment is warrantied longer...my last truck had the cat's built into the exh manifolds and had an 8yr/80,000 emission warranty....
