Took my 19’SCREW to Oceano Dunes this weekend and was surprised I only saw 1 other Raptor on the beach but none playing in the dunes. Made me think that I was the only dumb one to take mine out but wanted to test its capabilities and I was extremely impressed. Didn’t go too hard but did get all 4 tires off the ground a few times as well as charged some monster climbs with ease. Managed to hit whoops and straightaways at 75mph+ and ride like a champ! Overall, I was extremely happy with its performance and can’t wait to go back.1fabdb5a71b453352319b77b9c4c7c61.jpgdd80021222d6dc3805414968f0f28ac9.jpg5e314f8fb29361c91721b567f1c80548.jpg

WOW...that seems pretty low right??? I threw my tire off the rim (stock tires, no Beadlock) when running at 20psi down in Mex on some dunes.

Changing a tire in sand is no bueno.
Yep you have to get low to really perform on sand without getting stuck. I generally run 14 to 12 without beadlocks without any problem. Also if you do have a pop-out it’s generally easy to reseat the tire if you jack up the truck to get it off the ground and have a decent high volume compressor or a inflator tank of pressurized air or nitrogen.

I started at 13, went down to 11 to get up the steeper hills. No bead locks.
I ran 15 away all 4’s with not beads either and had no problems on the steep hills. I started off at 25 and noticed a difference once I took 10 off

Does the paint get sandblasted off the truck if you spend a bunch of time playing in the sand?
I’ve haven’t seen any issues with the paint being sandblasted off. It definitely easier on the paint than the rock/gravel chips from high speed pre-running.

None of them could keep up at top end or when we were all cruising at same speed and hitting the pedal at speed. We all raced (9 other side by sides) at competition hill and of course they all took me off the line but stopped pulling on me once I hit halfway through the run. On the straights I would easily pull on them at full boost. If I knew how to upload a video my friend in the Rubicon took a cool vid and you can see how I passed a couple of them but here is a screen shot of them not too far out frontb3353016e19e6038d6433c9e00f8531b.jpg
