GEN 2 New Gen 2 owner!

Hi guys,

I've been looking for a Gen 1 "13-14" Raptor SCAB the past few months and haven't found any decent ones. A couple of days ago I found a '17 Gen 2 Raptor SCAB in Magnetic Grey with only 20k miles on it and in very good condition...so I pulled the trigger (we don't have a lot of Gen 2s here).

I'm not sure if this exact spec comes in US or if it's a Middle East spec, it looks like it's the 800A package but with the 8" screen, sunroof, leather seats with grey trim and heated seats, which has lost everything I need. My main issue is that the truck doesn't have auto fold mirrors which I find quite useful and use a lot.

I've been reading some posts and trying to do some research but I'm unable to get a definitive answer. If I purchase a pair of auto fold mirrors and get the driver side door mirror console will I be able to have them function properly? Is it the same wiring harness? I know you need to actually press on the button to fold the mirrors but that can be solved with Forscan,

It also doesn't have the power rear window which I don't find to be a big deal but the rear window doesn't have a defrost which I find weird!

Attached are some pictures (excuse the quality)...it's currently at the detailing shop and will have new tints, painted black rims and full engine and interior detailing.

Welcome to FRF. First order of business, some interior detail spray. ;-)

The mirror swap can be done. It will require new mirrors, new window controls, and some software changes with Forscan. You may also need to make some wiring adjustments, too. But I'm not totally sure on that one. There have been guys who have installed Tow Mirrors so you may want to search those threads and see if you can find what you're looking for.

Look on u tube , a guy posted a vid with part numbers for the auto fold mirrors. You will also need door modules , with the harness. On f150 forum is also a big thread on the subject. But the video shows everything but the forscan part. Insert value from a truck with power fold mirrors first to turn on modules then insert values for Lincoln mirrors.

Just curious, does your heated seats work? If not then the previous owner added sync 3. Its a plug n play mod for the 18s , 17s had different plugs and need a converter harness.

You may want to invest in some armor all wipes and get that dash cleaned up...
