Gen2- Anyone using aftermarket seats? ( stockers are making my back hurt.)

Ran Sparco Evos and Evo-2s in my track cars, but don’t think I’d want them in an off road vehicle at speed. Not much cushion for vertical loads.

Find out what the pros run in their baja rigs; maybe rally cars.

I wouldnt need verticle cushion out of the seat. there is 30K worth of suspension for that. The verticle compression of the seat suspension with a hard bottom out is what puts the whoopin on ya. Most everyone is gonna use something similar to an evo, or something like a kirkey.

I have a back issue to with the Raptor seats on 17 18 and now 19 I found a fix for this I seat on 2 bed pillows it will sink to a very good height. A little bit hard to sit on at first but quickly compress. I have driven over 150,000 miles like that. Hope that helps your back.

i dont really drive my raptor on the road anymore. This is for offroad. More cushion would be bad.

This thread is hilarious. Dude, you are so far the rabbit hole I think you are better asking the Southwestern boys. (SVC, Kibbe, RW etc.) Clearly this forum is not going to give you the answers which you seek.

I guess what guidance that I might need moving forward is best left for race dezert or something.

oh well I guess check me out of instagram @whoisthatdaveguy as there are things I'd rather be doing instead of hanging around here to read threads on pedal commanders and window tint.

Which shorty antenna is the best one? the bullet one? I hear its one of the best mods you can do

19's have recaro seats that's all you need lol.

But semi serous, would you mount the seat to the factory tracks or fab something up out of steel?

I'd use the seat brackets from the seat manufacturer or can Fab some.
