Actually, you made no mention of what the base, no mods done, figures were. Just that your numbers were good, so it must be the intake. You say you're not trying to be rude, but you come across as a bit of a ******* trying to hawk his stuff and not liking to have legit questions asked of you. I'm not trying to be rude though.

This is exactly what I was getting at. The claims that the intake and IC resulted in the gains is not factual as the post alludes to the fact that this particular truck did not have a base dyno to compare to. If an intake made power I would have one but the actual scientific tests done properly show different. I’m glad you understood what I was asking as the OP seems butt hurt that I’m calling him out on what appears to be false claims based on assumptions with no proof to show otherwise.

Read my last reply.

We will go through the full test on our next build and post before and after without hard parts.

Anyways. There is a lot more to this post. 18 lbs of boost and 451 RWHP and a lot of great info. No one is trying to make claims honestly. I don’t care how much the *****’s make on their own as it’s not practical to expect a higher flowing intake to make much of a difference without proper calibration.

Would also like to point out that you CANNOT make those numbers on stock IC. If you see other vids of mine, the truck heat soaked and dropped over 50 HP by the third pull.

Question to both of you guys:

What do you drive? What Performance mods and tune are you running? And what numbers do you show? Thank you

So the truck in question was not put on a dyno before the bolt on intake and ic? If that is the case then no one can attest these possible gains to anything. Do you have at the very least a base dyno for this particular truck or are you going off of averages that other truck dyno? The “Raptor Joe’s” as you refer to them have done back to back dyno tests, same truck, same fuel and the intake alone is not proven to add any power.
I’m going to reply to you comments here since you claim that I got but hurt...

If someone replies to your comment you assume that they are offended?

I have no issues conversing with anyone. It is very clear that you didn’t watch the video from all your responses.

Please answer my questions above.

I agree the results are impressive and I’m not trying to take away from that. I was just confused by the text stating that the intake made power yet we all know from prior people’s testing that’s not the case. That is why I questioned as I was confused and needed clarification. Not a big deal.

I have a 2018 Magnetic Grey that I have had for a year this month. All options except tech package and decals. No performance mods yet but am itching to pull the trigger, still doing research hence the reason why I read and was interested in your thread.

Okay I was asked to come over here and answer any questions you guys may have.

1. Raptors usually make right at 360-367 on our dyno bone stock after octane learning on 93 octane.

2. Losses of restriction like intercoolers and intake systems will gain more power in stock tuned trucks because the stock wastegate settings allow slight overboost (over the factory calibration desired boost) and show power gains. Just like the SPD adapters do in the lower gears but don't show much difference in the higher gears on a sustained dyno pull.

3. I have seen similar gains on stock trucks with the full race intercooler as well.

4. I had to do quite a bit of wastegate adjustments on the top end to keep from overboosting over my normal calibration. This was due to better flowing intake system and intercooler.

Any more questions I can answer?

For the TLDR crowd - any raptor with a good FMIC (Cobb, Full Race etc) should make similar power with the OP's custom tune. Any good CAI may or may not yield better results than the stock intake.

Intakes show their worth when you are at the right edge of a compressor's map. Also, the higher you go in altitude, the more an intake makes a difference because you start eliminating the "false altitude" a compressor sees from an intake restriction that adds to the actual reduction in air pressure.

Well Matt, I bought your tunes for my 6.0 and then my 6.4 and now Yeah I am going to have you tune the 2019 Raptor.
Please enlighten us on the trans tuning. What are you doing with the trans? Are you going to make a true Tow tune for us also?

Tow tune is easy, just have to turn down max power a little. You would still use tow mode when towing. The trans tuning in the raptor firms shifts without binding, changes a few shift points, and allows max power without slipping the transmission at wot. Nothing too crazy because the 10r wasn't meant to be a "hard" shifting transmission and doing so would shorten its life.
