I have an 18 - both fobs have regular Ford symbol, I thought I’d get raptor keys- what gives?
Is yours 802? Seems like you got the wrong keys. I ordered one off eBay and reprogrammed it for my 17 and had the dealer cut the key when it was in for service. No problem super easy.

You have an 800 or 801? The Raptor key only comes on 802 as far as I know
A very “expensive”
801a I guess 802 only had the special fobs then? 801a w/ options totaling MSRP of $66.8k

Maybe why I got such a good deal lol? Either way the fob isn’t a biggie can get one any time

I purchased the newer Raptor fob from an eBay vendor and it worked perfectly. For an additional $20, they will also cut the emergency key inside the fob. So in total, $120 for a fully functional Raptor fob. Programming instructions posted on the forum were also spot on. Took less than 5 minutes to program. I may do another down the road.

@uncc0: Can you share the link to the eBay key fob and locksmith you used for your 2017 Raptor? Thanks

Each to their own...buy what you wanna buy...

But while the new fob does look nice I suppose.. It would never work for me with my retraxpro Mx... at least as far as the logo goes!

Purchased the newer key style for my 17’. I did it because on my 17 I kept popping my tailgate and emergency button with fob in pocket. I ended up buying a rubber sleeve for the key which stopped the accidental button presses. This created its own problem, I couldn’t easily access the spare key to lock the console/glovebox.

I used the link uncc0 posted (thank you) gave them my key code and few days later the newer fob and new cut key arrived. The cut key works great.

Now onto programming. There is a tread that shows how to do it...it worked but I had to do it several tries (my timing was spot on). I played around on the last one and what seemed to work was placing the 1st original fob in the slot under the first cup holder with the buttons facing the engine. Did the same for the second remote and finally same for the new remote to be programmed. Each time I did it, after the second FOB was placed in the slot the factory door code appeared. For the first two times I got a message that said key programming failed. I was a bit concerned but kept trying, 3rd time was a charm and got the key programming was successful, key works perfectly.

I have a 2017 with only 1 key FOB. Is there a way to program a new FOB yourself without already having 2 FOBs?
No you need two functional keys. You need to go to the dealer to program it, but you might as well so they can cut the key so you can open the door etc.
