That motor in this truck would be an absolute animal. 760hp daily driver that can do it all in a crew cab truck, on or off-road, in any weather, and pull a trailer.

For sure it would be awesome in the Raptor, and really I see no reason they won't offer it during the last 1-2 years of the Raptors current life cycle. Similar to how Vette's have a ZR-1 at the end of it's life cycle. It will be an 85K truck though, IMO.

My DW has a SC V8 in her Range Rover, and with "only" 516HP and 461TQ it feel so much more powerful than my Raptor, although the weight is about the same.

Ford will do something to counter the upcoming Hellcat motor in the ram. My DD is a Trackhawk. Had a 2017 SRT and when the Trackhawk came out in 2018 I had to have it. I took the hit on the trade and am happy. The Trackhawk is a $100K MSRP vehicle, and FCA has not sold as many $100K jeeps as they hoped.

Betting the RAM TRX and any Raptor with the SC 5.2 will also be $100K MSRP vehicles. I hope Ford and FCA keep the horsepower wars going. Good times for us.

We got a 2019 Scab Raptor two months ago, love it. Be great to have to choose between a TRX and Raptor V8 in a year or two.

Kind of sad regarding the Trackhawks success regarding sales. 90+K is a bit much for a "Jeep", but boy is it cool. My daughter has an SRT Jeep and its a blast. Dealer here has had a red one on the lot for a long time. Has it discounted 10K now. If it was the Stingray I would be really tempted.
