I have this combo being installed Wednesday along with some New 602 shoes.

Anyone have this combination yet? Just curious if I made a great choice or I am going to sound like a beefed up Honda, but only difference is I can run over anyone.. lol

Start with just the down pipe on the stock exhaust. See if ya like that before you cut the stocker mufflers off.

Thanks for the advise, but I am looking for the performance gains, so unfortunately Im all in on the upgrade. Will post videos afterwards so people can hear the setup and then let some people bash me how it sounds bad.. lol

Its getting installed Wednesday

Yep down pipes are loud enough with turbo adaptors and there is NO performance gains to be had on the exhaust. It just gets louder, make sure you hang on to the stock stuff so you can switch it back in about 5000 miles.

Not sure how you figure there will be no performance gains from removing a more restrictive exhaust and putting on something less restrictive, but ok. You will usually see about 10% gains, some may vary

Because the turbo is the restriction in the exhaust system; even with a tune and new full exhaust down pipes and adapters no one has seen any gains. Most if not all gains in this motor are from a tune and can flow through the stock intake and exhaust systems. Best mods for the $ would be a front mount inter cooler and a tune.

Read up on what people here actually see with the exhaust. It is a waste of money.

I installed kooks catted DP's and a borla S type...couldn't rip the Borla off fast enough..it was absurdly, embarrassingly loud, in the worst way possible lol. Took the loss on the exhaust and went back to stock with the Down pipes, absolutely perfect now. Good luck!
