Hey folks,

I just got 19 SCREW couple weeks ago and i intend to trailer my car to tracks with it.
I am looking for a winch idea that can be portable or not to be mounted in rear. It can be mounted in bed, rear hitch mount... anyone have done such a thing?
I looked at some of the double hitch solutions but they do not have trailer capacity of 8k lbs.

Thanks in advance

Can't speak for this forum, but I've read several articles about mounting a winch mounted on a square tube to be used in the hitch, and a mount for storage in the bed when not being used...

Just buy a hitch mount and put a winch in it.

* Here's a hitch mount: https://www.harborfreight.com/hitch-receiver-mount-for-winches-69106.html
* Here's a winch: https://www.harborfreight.com/5000-...-with-automatic-load-holding-brake-68144.html

Those are not the only options...just google "winch hitch mount", buy one, and then buy a winch...problem solved!

thank you for the links, so you are suggesting to decouple the trailer then hook the winch and pull car on then hook the trailer back?

I'm not suggesting anything, just giving you an idea for the rear hitch mount that you mentioned you were looking for. :)

I don't know how you would keep the trailer from moving if it wasn't connected to the tow vehicle while you were trying to load another vehicle on it...

:) clear
but yea my worry is what you think as well regarding the trailer moving/tipping etc.. during the load/unload.
so my problem is still unsolved :)
