I was leaving the office yesterday and a colleague behind me said a ton of white/blueish smoke was coming out of the exhaust on acceleration. I haven't noticed anything since then but curious if others have run into any similar issues?

Thanks in advance

Couple of guys had this same issue, one was recent. Both were diagnosed with the same reason. Ended up being the left side turbo, turbo seal failure. I will find the link to the most recent.

Yes it was

That's been discussed in another thread a while back here. IIRC, the "experts" said a long idle time (which means there is a vacuum in the turbo) pulls oil past the turbo seal and it all burns off when you finally take off.

Did it look something like this? I’ve had both turbos replaced, Ford engineers changed the valve covers, inspected the engine, amd so on. It’s been to the dealership 11 times in 10 months for burning oil and coolant. Last week they put a new long block engine in, this video was taken 2 days later. I am so incredibly fed up with Ford. The dealership is good but Ford’s help has been much less than stellar. The amount of phone calls and hours of complaining just to get them to do anything is a complete pile of BS. I’ve bought 14 Fords in 16 years and this is how they react to a problem...
