I need some recommendations for bed covers - I've done hours of research and my head is spinning because of the amount of choices. I'm 90% sold on the Bak Industries Revolver x4 but I'm a little concerned about the rolling ability in the winter time. Obviously it gets cold in Indiana and I won't be using it that much in those winter months, but it is a concern.

To those who live in winter states - what bed covers are you running?

Diamondback cover. Lifetime warranty on all parts besides coating. Most robust cover out there. Moreover, it has more applications than any other cover because you can lock all your gear and still put up to 1000 lbs on top of the cover.

I ALSO went crazy for weeks comparing them all....and finally went with the LoMax Tri-Fold (its like the Bak-Flip but more low profile). You can hardly tell its on and is only like 1/4" above the sides.
My 1st choice was the Diamondback as SVTFORDRAPTOR mentioned above,BUT,just didnt want the high profile and it sitting above the bed rails....The LoMax is actually what WeatherTech sells...its just rebranded with $$ added to it...Personally I've seen the "roll-up" covers in action, and just dont like, and IMHO would think they would freeze up a little and become stiff....So,maybe I confused you more....but bottom line, what I learned is there is NO right answer, its what fits your app...and how deep your pockets are...
My GF wanted me to get a motorized one..HAHA...like the Raptor doesnt have enough "tech" things that can go wrong...no need for ANOTHER problem if motor fails....
I LOVE the LoMAX..it took about 30 minutes to install, and so far has been 95% dry inside...just a few drops near back bed cornors,sometimes....yesterday it POURED...and was dry...so must be angle of rain I'd guess.....
I also got a KILLER deal on it,and if you PM me,I'll send you the info......and no,I'm not a Bed-Cover Salesman...LOL...

I have the revolver X4. The rolling is no problem at all even in winter. But otherwise it sucks and I want to replace it, the rubber weather strips that lay along the top of the bed are weak and can be peeled back easily. There are better choices out there for sure.

Had the x2 on my 13 terrain did very well, (went to Idaho every Christmas)liked it well enough to get the x4 on my new truck.

Only difference between the x2 and x4, the x4 is a flat or Matte finish.

Could you give me insight on how long it takes to remove the cover if I needed the entire bed for something. Or is that not an option? Lastly, how many inches do you lose of bed when rolled up.

I also have spent several hours and have gone in circles looking for a cover for 6 months. Not a dire need but I do need one. I’ve been just keeping my eye out in parking lots. Seen some really ****** ones and some OK ones. I saw a Tonno Pro roll up on a Platinum F-150 and I was really impressed. They’re only $250. The owner only installed it a few months ago with no complaints. I’m in ATL though so weathers not a concern.

Might drop a stack on the X4 though cause it does look sharp! Waiting on some special coupon code to hit my inbox.

Think you’ll be satisfied. Also just watched video on installation and it looks like 4 bolts and it pops off so that looks easy.

Could you post your opinion on it once installed. Thanks

To strip down completely, a few minutes or you could just remove the 4 nuts in the front leaving the rails.

I was quoted $950 you may save $100 more waiting till Black Friday
