Have a Gen 1 OEM ford steering wheel. Not even a year old and used a handful of times as I don’t DD the truck. Retrofitted a Gen 2 steering wheel with working paddle shift so have no use for this any more. These are hard to find now.

I’m interested to know how you made the paddle shifters work on the Gen1. Can you give some info on the process? I’m sure there’s plenty of people, like myself, that would like to make the swap also. Is the airbag and steering wheel controls transferable to the Gen 2 steering wheel?

I'll second this for the info, I think I could make the paddlle's work, but not certain about the airbag connectors, and switches from a '15+ operating '13-'14 modules.

How difficult is it to change and are specialty tools required?
My '12 wheel is a little worn.
