Curious new guy question - Why do I see so many Raptors with aftermarket wheels?

I have a gen 1, but I found after mounting my 37's to the factory wheels the sidewall just barely rubbed the knuckle/UCA. I bought wheels with a 1" offset to fix that.

Since it was brought up, I bought 6 wheels so both spares wouldn't rub.

I agree! Having a higher disposable income makes it easy to buy a set of wheels. When I changed mine I even changed the spare. The people I bought them through acted like I had I third eye. I just have a thing against not being complete. Having that bastard child under the bed would drive me crazy.

I like knowing the carpet matches the drapes as well.
