Does anyone know what production number the Raptors start on mine is 78*** I collected mine in January 2017 (ordered in Aug 2016) I find it hard to believe they made 78,000 in 2016 the first year of production.

Hint: Raptors are F150s.

The letter in front of the last 5 numbers matters too. Hint: The first set of 99,999 F-150s starts at A. I ordered mine January 2017 and I have B30500. That's the 130,500th 2017 F-150.

2016 'first year of production"... Am I missing something...thought first year of production was 2011...?

So mine is A136** would that make mine the 13,6** built in 2014 (ordered 2013)...as opposed to B136** which would make it # 113,6**..Only info I have is it was #14 built by Shelby in 2014...

Well now that's not strictly true is it, that's something I'd expect my wife to say.........but if you want to split hairs. It doesn't have the F150 Frame, suspension, certain body work, engine, terrain management etc.

It is strictly true though. The Raptor is the Ford Performance variant of the F150. A GT350 has many components (engine, suspension, certain body work, etc) that differ from a base Mustang. Does that make the GT350 a completely different model? Nope. It's still a Mustang.

Here we go...............Everyone is entitled to their opinions but not their own facts, you cant buy a F150 XLT and make it a OEM spec Raptor but you could with all F150 variants. That said I will concede that it is an extreme modification of an F150 which cannot be attained by simply bolting on parts to an F150.
