Those look high and tidy....also looks like it would be a pain to bolt on something on the left side with the fuel tank there...

That’s why I would weld them.

While I like the look I don't see how these would function as a true rock slider. The leading edge behind the front wheel is likely to snag and get hung up. By design a slider should help push the vehicle away from the obstacle when it makes contact. The main body cut from flat stock will likely fold up like a beer can. Ideally a slider should be able to support the weight of the vehicle and if necessary be able to be used as a jack point. No doubt these will be many times stronger than the factory boards but sliders they are not.

ya but the frame and cab move independently
and the rpg mounts don’t look super strong
khc is the best but heavy
I bought rocky road outfitters, still body mount,
but 3 mounts all steel and they are 1 3/4” less projection each side so less leverage on them and less incidental rock scraping

You think RPG doesn’t realize such movements take place? RPG has had those sliders out for years and no one has had a problem with them—Baja tested and approved. The RPG sliders are super strong.
