Rotary Gear Shift Dial Conversion

I've been looking into it. The Expedition has more modules than the F150/Raptor. Someone is just gonna have to try it out.

I actually prefer a sixth seat to center console. I have a family of five and frequently we have an additional friend or family member. Almost all of my previous trucks had a sixth seat that folded down. I know the F-150 has option, but I suspect it would be costly.

I don’t like the rotary ones. Especially in trucks... Dodge has that on their trucks and it just does t feel like it should be in a truck.

I hope they don't put this in the F150 anytime soon. I'd rather they leave it a DIY mod for people that want it.

You should turn that raptor in for an mdx

Would like a shifter that you pull rite back for drive. Move sideways for manual, and you bump t handle up or down for manual gear change. Only thing I would want it changed to

Seen other vehicles with that type of shifter and yes I would be fine with something like that. My last truck had a kind of a gate console shifter and I liked that....
So for me here's the deal...unless its a smooth fire road type of road, when I hit the dirt and are running I always manual shift and with our console shifter it's steer with the left and hold onto my shifter with the right and use the "+/-" rocker. This gives me something to hold onto and the rocker fits perfect into my hand and pretty much however I'm bouncing around I can still shift with my right hand....Can't imagine trying to press those same buttons next to the rotary knob and bouncing around...

I wish it only had a manual transmission! That would discourage a whole demo graph. It would also be WAY more fun to drive.

I guess it would, but it would be the biggest demo Ford sell Raptors to....Since I live in the Los Angeles area, with it's constant traffic, nothing fun about having to play row, row, row your boat every 3 car lengths...

And nothing fun about bouncing around the desert at speed trying to shift...
