I've been into photography since my kids were small. They're now 28, 30 and 32. When PS came out I sucked at it. I still suck at it. I pay the monthly fee, but I never, ever use it. I only use LR. At least that I can figure out. These two shots I only tweaked in LR. I hope that's allowed.

Here you can see my Baja lights in bumper cutout and lower grille.

Nice pictures! Also, what mudflaps are those? Running around in the PNW, I definitely need some to keep all this crap off the side of my truck.

Ty. I’m pretty sure they are weather tech. Inexpensive in comparison and work fine.

I've been doing pictures since the early 80's when we had to use 35mm film and real dark rooms! :)

Like you I could never figure out Photoshop and as an IT professional I hate, hate, *HATE* Adobe especially now with their new licensing issues!

Lightroom 5.7.1 is what I like to use for my photographs and I find it does a great job.

Well they don't come any stupider than me. Years ago my wife spent $500 to buy me whatever the then current version of Photoshop was. I then spent $199 for LR. When it went subscription they offered it "cheaper" than it would be if you signed up right away so I did. I've been paying ten bucks per month for years now and if I've used PS twice in that time it's a lot.

Absolutely! Your passion for photography shines through. It's wonderful that you've been capturing moments since your kids were small. It's completely okay to have preferences in your editing tools, and it's great that you've found comfort and proficiency in using Lightroom. The two shots you shared look fantastic, and the fact that you only tweaked them in LR is more than allowed – it's a testament to your skill in achieving the desired results without extensive editing. Keep enjoying your photography journey!
