I just got this raptor a week ago. Every time I started I get this message. Network connection Needed. I connect it to my home Wi-Fi. Every time I get in and start the truck and asked me this. I saw online there were directions from Ford to set to automatic updates under General settings. I go under General settings my menu doesn’t have an automatic update option.

I had this same issue. I went to my dealer and they showed me a support bulletin about this. It’s an inactive feature related to a planned WiFi auto update feature which was not activated by Ford. Instead if there is a Sync update you will be notified in the FordPass app on your phone. To remove the message you should deactivate the WiFi update feature in you settings menu in the truck.

Do you have or can you get any more info on the support bulletin? I had similar issue. Thanks

I also went to the dealer for this and they did nothing, just had me turn off the auto updates. I’ll wait until the next actual code change and try it then.

I was at Raptor Assault 2 weeks ago and saw it pop up on 3 or 4 Raptors there too so I know I’m not alone. :)

I’m with you on that. Turned off WiFi auto update and will see if that works. Trying to get rid of two messages that pop up all the time

Upgrade your SYNC to the current version thru the FordPass website using a USB drive and that message will go away. There is a thread on the F-150 forum regarding this, but I can't find it right now. Worked for me.
