This is unacceptable in a $70,000 truck

Siggh....yes you may be right, but it would do it slower while consuming a good bit more gas lol, and I am all set w/ Ford's small displacement, yet huge architecturally, giant head rockin, difficult to work on DOHC V8's. Give me a proper SOHC donkey **** cammed hemi or LS/LTx any day of the week & twice on Sundays.

That flat pane voodoo does sound sweet though

You know the 6.2L is a SOHC 2V engine, right? The new 7.3L is as well. LS engines have their own issues, and plenty of them.

And this is STILL unacceptable for a $70,000 truck.

I think I did know that as far as the old 6.2 goes now that I think on it, the 5.4 was DOHC tho right? Regardless- it is/was waaaayyy too big & heavy for its displacement. I’m driving a Ford now not super brand loyal anymore (used to be- but all brands are F’d now IMO)- but don’t wanna talk about GM V8s vs Fords...we don’t need to go there, while Ford was all aboard the EB train GM was still refining & perfecting their tried & true V8 recipe. I have extreme disdain for the AFM hardware/software- pissed they put it in performance vehicles- but it’s not even a contest in terms of proven performance, longevity, desirability- forget about factory vehicle sales figures, do some research on crate motor sales, sure ain’t pretty for Ford/mopar vs GM.

But for the record- GM trucks/vehicles do the same dumb shit w/ the TC/SC- last car you could completely disable it on wAs a C5 vette (for GM)

Had more trouble on the dyno, they couldnt dyno it and I wasted $90 because it wouldnt stay in manual after ABS lights came on from the dyno roller.

jdmnick informed me you have to put it in manual BEFORE you get on the dyno, but once again the electric nannies **** me over.
