Took decals off rear bedsides. Piece of cake with clothes steamer.
Had a friend fabricate a mount for my hand control brake/throttle. (I use a wheelchair) I’ll remove, blast and paint the mount this weekend.
Also removed side steps for better clearance,ingress/egress. Now my dog looks at me like, where’s my step? Speaking of, somewhere here there was a comment about “putting a bullet” in a friends dogs head that hopped in his truck. I can say certainly the inside will hold up to a pretty big dog. Peeing on rims...well, maybe that’s a different story.

That's badass. Bracket and welds look great, are you going to paint/powdercoat it? Eventually I need to remove my chipped and fading hood decal, what is this clothes steamer of which you speak?? I was going to try a heat gun but if there's a better way I'd give it a shot.

Yes we’ll take it out and blast it and powder coat. The guy does it on a one car garage at home but works for a lot of hot rodders around here in their shops. More pics of his work attached. He shows it off but with a sense of humor.
Steamer pic attached too. The second side I heated more thoroughly and pretty much did it in one peel from back/top to front. I had the steamer already but don’t recall what they cost. I also peeled front window tint off with it. Easily.
