Thanks. Trailer’s GVWR is 7K lbs. , around 5500 Dry. We had it fairly loaded.

It’s 600-700 LBS. I loaded the trailer carefully with more of the heavy stuff over the axles to balance it out. Normally I wouldn’t care but just did for peace of mind.

Towed it out camping today. Did pretty darn good. I think the track width is totally a benefit.

I’ve had an atv trailer with 3 850lbs wheelers on mine and it was perfect. The 2018 handled it but it floated like an old Cadillac lol.

I am starting to come to terms that the raptor suspension with a wdh can handle a 7-8k trailer confidently and all the worry and concern of going to extreme lengths for suspension upgrades is not truly needed. It may make it better but it's not a must have! Time for me to stop worrying and just get that toy hauler I been eyeing that will end up around 7-7500k fully loaded.

I too was somewhat skeptical and thought I’d be pushing the limits stock on my 19. Fox bumps were pretty cool on my last whip (and to help towing) but I never “wanted” to depend on them. I’m pretty confident the way it towed stock.

I loaded things strategically but did not bring the pair of Honda EUs or extra water I normally pack. That normally goes towards the rear of the trailer so it was pretty heavy on the tongue. That’s probably 150+ pounds I didn’t have to unload the tongue weight weight.

Buy the toy hauler... you’ll be happy you did. On a side note we got a travel trailer primarily because of the wife. This thing is a pain in the @ss to load up for a week plus. I’m constantly in fear of banging up the cabinets.

Toy hauler... BBQ, Bikes and Coolers packed within 5 minutes. I miss that.

Take a look at the Timbren rubber springs. I keep them on all the time because I rarely take the truck off-road (I have numerous other off-road toys.). They are fairly cheap, very easy to install, they help support the extra weight when towing, they keep the rear from squatting, and they do not affect the ride on asphalt when not towing. Buy those and tow to your hearts content.

I've owned 1/2 trucks all my life and consider 8000 lbs to be my comfort limit...my last truck was rated to tow 9,600 lbs. There was NO way I was going to tow that much with my half ton...

Remember that Toy Haulers have a LOT of tongue weight!...and tongue weight is the Achilles heel of the Raptor...

I'm looking into Atc toy hauler(all aluminum) with the lowest tongue weight trailer possible. Going without a mounted Genny and other options to reduce tongue weight to help offset that issue as best as possible.

Here is a pic of our 2019 hooked up to our car hauler. We hooked this same setup up to my white 2018 parked in front and it seemed to squat more than the 19. Both trucks pull like a dream, plenty of power. Trailer is about 4k empty and with those two machines I would guess it's about 7,500lbs gross. Rode level and handled well. Pulled it about 900 miles down to Mesquite, NV

Didn't even notice anything was back there; hauled the groceries like a champ
