I have one and use it all time to recover stuck vehicles at Oceano Dunes. Works great and I can take it off when I'm not out on the dunes... I have no choice but to take mine off, my Raptor won't fit in my garage with it!

Some places charge you with something stuck in receiver if you are not using it. (ie hitch)

This is what I run...it has a nice smooth chamfer for the 3/4" shackle pin hole to be able to run soft shackles that I also carry..
