I need to update the system too and what they fix in March patch?

This latest version lets you split screen the console.

It jacked up the sound quality on pandora though. Snap crackle pop. I didn’t have a problem before.

How do we change themes?

Spotify is still ok.

Update fixed the temperature!

Themes are in the deep settings where you flash the canbus

Even with all of these issues, this upgrade is still compelling. Has anyone tried to run Backcountry Navigator or other offroad navigation apps on this thing? If so, did it work well and were you able to download and use .gpx files?

Who thinks a version with the updated hardware (px6?) is upcoming?

the systems for the 4inch screens started arriving a couple of days ago so some new issues and some that might have been addressed before are coming up ; there are 3 issues that are really bugging me and at least one of them is related to the 4inch screen system hopefully someone can pitch in:
1.radio console/music player: since the stock 4in screen is not touch, it is not passed-passed-trough ike the 8in system. the oem usb input is shown as a (♫) symbol and there is a (sync) symbol which seem to be linked, however i dont know the actual function of this option. They will play music from a usb connected to the oem usb port, but it only plays the last file that was playing in my stock radio with no option to browse the usb library.
b)the music app from the tablet will play mp3 files from a usb plugged to the tablet usb port but there is no sound, the radio sound overrides this app, .the only way to get sound is if i go to the radio console, select the (♫) option and press play (with no usb plugged in the oem usb port) , then i will get sound from the music app but only for a split second before the tablet sends me back to the console screen automatically for no reason, it just doesnt let me stay at the nusic app)

2. bluetooth: i seem to be getting two bt signals, the sync signal and the tablet signal. the sync signal works but its not displayd anywhere on the screen so i can not connect to it.. the tablet bt is working but i get no sound output. (or the bt
sound doesnt override the radio sound)

3. reverse camera flickers and only shows the actual reverse image for fractions of a second at a time, i already found another 4inch user with this issue

i know this is a lengthy list of issues but hoping to fix some based on the knowledge base of this thread. i appreciate any help

I was having an issue of very low gain on all streaming sources after the canbus and configuration files they had me install last week. This new version did not correct that for me. Guy how is the volume output on Spotify for you is it the same as your radio or greatly reduced? Sounds like you are experiencing the same distortion I had on your other streaming sources. It was the same for me in that Spotify was not affected .

The themes are a pain to change as they are just numbers with no descriptions and you have to reboot to get it to take effect. It will take quite a bit of time to go through them all.

Has anyone one put a matte screen protector on to help with the glare? Im thinking about putting one on to reduce the glare bc its pretty bad when its sunny out, can barely see the screen.

One more really annoying thing I haven’t seen mentioned, the tablet screen is totally black when you use polarized sunglasses.
