I contacted eibach and asked them about springs for my 2018 and if the springs will settle over time.

He said no they won't. In fact he told me that the springs will lift the front 2.5" and that the front will be higher than the rear possibly by an inch.

I want a leveled truck with maybe the front being a bit lower not higher.

Can anyone who has installed these springs confirm this?

Do you have before and after measurements of the front and the rear and whether or not the front has settled over time?

Yes I did ... What's your point?

I simply posted what I had heard back directly from eibach and found it strange that they would state that the truck could actually sit 1" high in the front and I wanted to confirm with the people that had actually done it.

If I missed something in the 220+ posts before mine I apologize.

Sorry if I was snarky, there are several posts on this thread that address your questions from a number of guys that have installed the Eibachs.

It appears that not everyone is experiencing the exact same results, not sure if it has anything to do with scabs vs screws but when I installed them on my scab, it was definitely a bit higher in the front than the rear. However, some people have reported a perfectly level height with the Eibachs. I put a set of Deaver+3s on to replace the factory leafs and now my truck sits perfect. My pics before/after are the 1st post, but I updated midway through in the middle of March when I did the Deavers and posted more pics and measurements. The ride quality is awesome and I would highly recommend.

I'm definitely interested in going with the spring since it sounds that is the best option with least impact on the truck parts.

But I definitely don't want to go with it being higher on the front end.

The tech at eibach also mentioned that it would have more of a Baja Pre-runner look and set up.

At my age I have no interest in entering any Baja or off road events ... Lol

I have a supercrew so to be fair to the eibach tech I never told him that so if he was basing his comments on a supercab, that's a possibility.

I just don't want to go thru the effort and expense and be disappointed. I would prefer having a truck that was a 1/4" or 1/2" lower in the front than 1" higher in the front.

I was trying to achieve that prerunner stance myself which is why I went with the springs. It's not even really about looks, I use my truck in the desert a lot and I need that stance hitting whoops. There's a good reason prerunners/trophy trucks sit like that. I was bummed it didn't get my nose up higher than the rear. I'm about to swap in a 1.5" drop shackle in the rear and longer brake lines.

I’ve never done this before so what do I need to do to the truck so I can take them both off and bring to a shop who will do the spring swap? Also, would anyone know the proper torque amount for install?

You need a 27mm standard and 30mm deep well socket for the lower shock bolt, those are uncommon so you'll need to pick those up if you don't have them. Most of the other stuff is 8/10/15/18mm. You'll need to disconnect the tie rod end from the knuckle, disconnect front sway bar from sway bar link, and unbolt the 2 small brackets holding brake lines. Then you'll need a good thin BUT STRONG prybar to push down the lower control arm to give the shock room to come out of the control arm at the bottom. It really helps to have 2 people but it can be done alone if you take your time. The upper shock bolts are 15mm, there are 3 on each side and they're annoying to get to. I got to 2 of mine easier from the top, under the hood. The lower shock bolt torque spec is 406ft lbs. I didn't have a big enough torque wrench so I took an air impact rated at 450lbs forward torque and hammered it on until the impact basically stopped. Since you have a 2019 you'll also need to unplug the wire for the live valve upper control arm position sensor and get it out of your way. It plugs into the vehicle harness right up inside the fender wells, you unplug it there and leave the short part of wire connected to your shock. Don't try to pry the wire off your shock, it'll never go back on the same way unless you buy new wire clips to hold it on. You'll also want some lashing straps or small ratcheting tie downs for getting your brake caliper held up out of the way so you don't pull on your brake lines.

The only actual difficult part for me was prying down the passenger control arm far enough to pull the shock out. It didn't want to go down far enough for me. Had to enlist the wife for help. Good luck man!

Obviously all the standard safety stuff applies. Use good jack stands, make sure truck is totally stable before crawling around under any part of it. I slide my front wheel/tire under the front middle of the truck in case the truck miraculously falls it might prevent it from crushing me to death. You shouldn't need to get under the truck really for this job.

Edit: forgot to mention, you're going to want a good air or electric impact to get that lower shock bolt off. That thing is not messing around.
