Gen1 numbers:

Corrected sales number:

2010: 10,437
2011: 11,135
2012: 13,784
2013: 19,688
2014: 22,409
77,453 made. Wonder how many are left...

Was it basically the production version or quite a bit different?

Hope you kind gents don’t mind my sincere questions.
A friend of mine (owns 2 Ford GTs) attended that show and saw the Raptor in 2009. He said it was incredible and there was no way that was going to be a production vehicle haha. When he saw it in 2010, he said it looked identical

I special ordered my 2011 SCAB for MSRP, and the dealer agreed to split the dealer hold-back with me. Cost to me was $41,000 plus tax. The deal was significantly below the sticker. As always, the deal depends upon the flexibility of the seller and the knowledge/cleverness/likeability of the buyer.

I’m on my third Raptor. One V-8 and two V-6s. I haven’t paid MSRP for any of them. I would highly recommend Pioneer Ford in Bremen, GA. Small town Dealer with great prices and service. Talk to Bob Winiarczyk - Dealer Principle.

I do have a low mile 2014 access cab or whatever the smaller version is called. It’s black. Is this a good forum to list it?

Yep, I paid $300 over invoice for my GEN1 or about $5k under sticker. Most places around me were selling at sticker and wouldn’t budge, hence why I went out of state. The deals were when you ordered and waited, not ones on their lots.

GEN2 seems more like a trim package now with no limited production.

Lol how the F is it more of “trim package” in the gen 2?? If anything it’s the other way around, the gen 2s are a far greater departure from a standard standard F150 then the first gen 1s were, there is WAY more “raptor specific trim” on gen2s vs regular F150s & it seems to get even more so each year (hence ‘19s getting even further upgrades/hi-tech shocks - or in gen1s going up to the bespoke 6.2)

I bet when (if?) the “super raptor” w/ 5.2 SC engine comes out you’ll consider a 700hp dune leaping monstrosity a trim upgrade from a 2.7 EB LTX eh?

I will say this- the gen2s get the +MSRP pricing thanks to the cult following & hoopla that followed from the gen1s debut.

Paid MSRP for my 2014. At first the dealer didn't budget with the $5000 mark up. Then I showed them my Costco quote for MSRP then the dealer accepted to match the price.
