Does anyone have a link on how to realign the bed? Or, is it even possible?

I was rear ended back in November and the collision center I used did horrible job and now the tailgate does not align properly, come to find out the bed is slightly crooked at the cab the collision center refuses to fix. They said it was within specs. The bed is out of alignment about a half inch of the cab. Pics to follow

And yes, I am dealing with my insurance company

I’m not sure about Gen 1’s, but if it’s the same as Gen 2 there isn’t much adjustment built in. The Gen 2 bed has 2 plastic alignment pins on the passenger side that stab into the frame. The bedsides and wheelhouse, etc are all riveted together. Hopefully yours can be fixed without major disassembly.

Thanks for the quick reply, it is a Gen 1 2010, with a 2013 bed replacement and a 2016/17 tailgate. The guy said there is a bed bolt cab corner that can be adjusted but I don’t know how that would effect the tailgate end alignment on the frame What a cluster f**k

Talk to your insurance and tell them you are not happy with the repair that the shop did. If it’s that bad the frame might be bent.

Well that worked out for me...

After paying $20k to fix my truck (body shop had no idea what they were doing, gave my ins co 3 different estimates) my insurance company decided to total my truck, I was pissed at first then they gave me a check for $32K, bought me a 2014 RR SE supercrew WOOHOO. $52k for a truck that was sold for $45K 9 years ago, makes no sense
