...exactly!
That`what I thought about that too.
although I think conversions like that will not be possible over here in europe
let me be clear. I would chat with them about it.

I would find out who they used to get the computer working properly.

I would then promptly call said computer genius, hire them to duplicate the work, then subsequently order a crate motor and do the physical swap and wiring myself.

I would NOT write a check to hennessey ( unless they were selling the computer and harness mods with motor mounts as a kit and I could cash and carry from them in person.)

There is no V8 coming in the Gen2.. and thank god! The TTv6 ROCKS.. Sure it only sounds like a TTv6.. Because it is a TTv6.. V8 might be louder, but they are old and outdated tech.. Besides, if you really want an awesome sound you buy a Powerstroke or Cummins.. ( I have also found that the people who knock the TTv6 are those that can't afford a Raptor anyway.) Raced a Gen1 the other night out of a stop light and had to laugh at the results... It was not close and I never heard his V8.. Because he was behind me the whole time.. To each their own though! Simply drive what you like..

Narrow minded...

I dont want the V8 for sound I want the V8 for proven reliability. The 6.2 has been a great engine and a solid work horse. I would love to see the same reliability meet a new technologically advanced V8.

Honda lawn mower engines are great too, but that 6.2 is freakin old and uncompetitive.

Mine makes more power at the rear wheels than yours makes at the crank. And it's still much less likely to spin a bearing. And it definitely won't blow a turbo. Or crack an oil pan.

You saying you don't have to worry about blowing a turbo is like me saying I don't have to worry about a grenading supercharger.

Not exactly. I don't have to worry about grenading a supercharger, either. And I have one.
