The way I see it is buying a 19 at invoice and then trading it in next year if the V8 truly comes out...

That is potentially a huge, upside down financial choice. The V8 will affect v6 value. Also, there are other service problems that are currently dropping the v6 value. Early adopters got there money back, but that is no longer the case.

The Shelby F150s and Shelby Raptors are beginning to get customers away from the standard raptor. More and more dealerships starting to carrying them as well.

I struggle to figure out whether you are Jake17 or Manula, either way it's clear you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about post after post after post..

Brighton Ford posted $3k off sticker any Raptor on their lot to the Silver Lake facebook page, if anybody wants to travel to Michigan to buy a truck.

They're building a bunch of them and I wonder if the market is starting to get saturated, and it may not have helped either that the 19's got more expensive.
It is getting like that b/c dealers jacked up the options on their allocations + got over MSRP for a while in many markets many of the allocations started to sit as 17-18 owners dumped their barely used value-holding raptors onto used market & simultaneously way more buyers than typical are doing custom order & waiting- who in their right mind would pay $1100 for ugly stickers? Only a dealer ordering one that’s who.

This is precisely why I believe they will offer the 5.2 SCd version alongside the 3.5 EB- will be able to move more units having a “halo” on top of a halo truck

FWIW in late FEB I purchased a “leftover” ‘18 801a w/ a ton of boxes checked stickered for $66.8k I paid $59.5k & had dealer throw in roll up truxedo tonneau cover + $1000 credit toward warranty + ttl, I got a 100k warranty cost roughly $1750 so total came to $60,250 - truck has Navi, LED bed/side lights, pano roof, etc

The market has changed now. Did you see that the 5.2 SC is coming to replace the ecoboost? The current ecoboost I have is having the cam phaser problem that most of us suffer from. There is a guy on here working on a fix and identified it as a definite design problem from Ford. If you go ecoboost, plan on at least $4k for that. My dealer won't address mine since they know the routine. They said to just let it blow up and guarantee a new engine. Either way, this one is getting traded for the 5.2 SC.
So the engine they’ve been making/refining for 10+ years is now junk, but you have confidence that the brand new design blown 5.2 DOHC V8 is gonna be a crackerjack of a motor w/ no issues?

You realize how insane that sounds?

It’ll probably have cam phaser issues too
