That was one of the issues I was having, the sync console would just randomly NOT come up - dealbreaker for me unfortunately.

So I had done the img update earlier in the week and everything was fine.
Did the canbus update yesterday and now I have multiple issues like the others.
Sometimes Sync screen is black on console.
No audio initially on music (spotify, etc) unless I go to console and change radio stations then the audio kicks on. (Provided I can see the console)
Spotify also doesn't work through Waze unless I jump in and out of the Spotify app.
AC temp is extremely laggy to adjust sometimes also. Like won't change for 5-7 seconds after turning the knob.
Going to contact phoenix and hopefully they can get another revision out to remedy these issues.

Question: If you go into the actual tablet/device settings "More Settings" and look under connections, does anyone see Bluetooth?
My thought was to connect the Sync3 and device via BT and see if it helps the no sound from apps issue.
I did the search in settings and pulled up BT but it had some text about null and something after that. Sorry at work and trying to remember what it said. But I could not get Sync3 to see it to try and connect. Strange but my phone found it and connected automatically.
Too bad most of the android/device settings are hidden or not all the usual options are there.

I tried also, Sync says No usable apps, or something along those lines.
I couldn't find the normal bluetooth settings either.
My audio worked fine (pandora, spotify, sync 3 radio, etc) before I updated the canbus. As soon as I did that, things went wonky.
Was thinking of doing the update again just to see if something didn't take....
On another note, at night the screen is super bright and I have the brightness all the way down. I noticed the maps (google and waze) don't go to night mode maps like they do on my phone (black background instead of white). Anyone know how to make the screen dim more and get the maps to go to night mode?
