I’m still moving forward with my order. The v-8 truck won’t be around until later next year if we’re lucky and my Raptor is my daily driver. I’m not looking forward to getting fleeced for insurance cost on a 700hp daily driver anyway and if I was it wouldn’t be a pickup truck.

I agree with why wait. The truck is like driving a 4 season sports car as it is now. My bud’s are blowing up my phone telling me to wait. Yeah wait...with another $30-40K! Life’s too short!

Im sure there will be a better Raptor in the future, regardless of if it has a v8 or not.

... but that next Raptor is a year or two away, ans Ill bet for first six months after its released itll be going for $90-110k with dealer markup and thats if its a replacement. It could very well be a limited run of a higher model Raptor, like the Trackhawk or ZR1 ans end up being $120+

The $75k msrp of the truck I ordered is at the very top of my vehicle budget. In a year or two, who knows but I want Raptor now :)

Same here, $75k is the top of my vehicle budget too, so as much as I wanted to see the V8 upgrade....it prices me out of the market. There will always be something bigger and badder, but coming from my 13’ Raptor, my ‘19 has me smiling all the time. This truck is just plain fun and it will haul my dirt bike and take my family camping which is all I need.

Mine gets here in a week and still keeping my order. Would personally prefer to build the v6 and throw bigger turbos on it then have the v8.
