why Is EVERYONE copying us? (rant)

Anyone else here notice how literally EVERYOBODY is putting their “raptor lights” on their Toyotas? I can appreciate almost all brands of trucks but come on man!

Little do they know that Department of Transportation made Ford put these safety lights because we were over 80” wide. Ford Engineers were genius for that Gen 1 Raptor grill and now how many trucks have black grills with spelled out names across the front?

Speaking of which, everybody is blacking out every emblem now just like you know who. This is crazy. Everybody else needs bow down to us and pay some respect!

Technically, didn't Toyota start off the name game in the grill with the land cruiser? Ford just made it better!

The toy makers at yota....(sorry)...also started the *****-stamp thing. I thought it was hilarious...and accurate...ahem. Then my beloved FoMoCo copied it with the F150 in giant letting on the tailgate so....errrm...uhhhh...nothing to see here.

But of we want to talk about automotive designers failing to even copy others....I submit this!

Yes lets lay off almost 15K employees and shut plants down....

I wouldn't point out just Toyota, there are plenty of wannabes within our own F150 ranks. I can't describe how sick and tired I am of seeing normal F150s with that FORD grill and 3 crap lights running across. Such a half ass attempt to look similar.

There is a guy in my town with like a 2005 F-250 with a fake Raptor grille shoddily attached to the front and some cheap Raptor decals on the bedsides. Downright hideous. Can't tell if he's trolling or serious. He looks like Guy Fieri so he might be serious.

Don't be offended by the DOODs running around town or the guys with fake lights and badging. Anyone who really cares can tell the difference. Just feel warm and happy that they want to have what you have, not everyone can afford to buy whatever they want. That includes me, I saw a GT3 driving home on Mopac the other day, maybe he felt warm and happy seeing my head turn.

One ugly truck! Chevy stated they used focus groups to help choose the design.
