GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Hey I am having Same studder issue from 2200-2800iah with all maps even stage 0 but the stock map is smooth as can be all the way. Also I hit a similar boost level earlier this week and had the wrench get thrown for over boost. I pulled the maps until I get a chance to change the plugs and get a data log to see what’s going on. But can anyone confirm that the new plugs (which ones?) will fix the 2200-2800 studder?

Yes! Thanks for asking, I’m on vacation right now so I haven’t posted but will.

The truck that dyno’d for me seems to have heat soaked in between runs. Stock is run 1, 353whp (93oct as well, so possible the fuel isn’t up to par!), run 2 was Cobb Off the shelf 93, 390whp, and run 3 was my custom 93 mapping, 410whp.

So my tune over stock on his truck made 57whp more.

Cobb Off the shelf made 37whp more than srock.

Graphs would look a lot better if heatsoak wasn’t an issue, and if this truck had an intercooler I’d guess he’d have made another 20whp on my map!

I’ve tuned 30-40 of these trucks in the last 2 months and this is the lowest 93oct truck even in stock form! But gains are gains. 57whp isn’t bad!

I’ll try to get another 93 example as this one may not be the best to go by.

Just to reiterate, this truck with my calibration picked up 57whp with tuning only! 93oct

I have another buddy going to dyno for 93oct in the next couple weeks!

After a million questions I decided to give Goose’s protune a try. I am absolutely kicking my self in the ass for not doing it sooner!! Really woke the engine up even more and dropped my 0-60 times by 7 tenths compared to the Cobb OTS tune! The truck is so much more responsive in all modes. Customer service is top notch! This 93 tune is no joke!
