Stumbled across this, just an fyi, the brackets are available, part # 44-7555, same part both sides, they are a smidge over $30 and shipping.

The Gen2 Raptor Lower Grill Brackets are actually not available by themselves. Not sure where you saw them for $30 but you can't just buy the brackets alone. Dealers can't even sell you the brackets alone as it goes against Baja's terms (same reason dealers can't sell you the fog brackets by themselves, HAS to be part of the kit)

Not sure it's a "Raptor Tax" I agree it's on the heavy side for pricing for some small brackets but at the same time they did put some thought/design into it and got it to market early. Most of Baja's brackets, when sold/available alone, are on the pricier side.

I took a pic of the brackets tag, they are sitting on my bar, waiting for me to install them. Guess I let the cat out of the bag, they are available. I have a set of fog brackets too, guess I’m living dangerously.

while that is superficially fun and satisfying, it’s kind of like nailing a skunk with both tires; only with a prius you spend a long time getting the Smug(™) off of your Raptor.
