I just got my 19 yesterday and was trying normal and sport mode and I don't feel anything much different yet but I have only driven it 60 miles so far. I probably just need to drive a bit longer and pay more attention to the shifting
In my case, sport mode holds the shift point longer (i.e. doesn't downshift as quickly and raises RPMs) and shifts more crisply, but it feels like sport mode. Not like my 17 (which never had the flash that supposedly fixes that). IMO, it shifts perfectly in every gear, in each of the modes as I would expect it to.
