Be glad they are doing their due dilligence.

Some companies alpha test, beta test, and then test some more before even announcing a product is being launched.

I would hardly find that to be strange.

I got a crappy response, again... "
sorry about that, we have to test everything is ok then will send out.
we do not want to send a unit with any issue"

What kind of hunk of junk needs a month to test?

QUOTE="Stewhoppy, post: 1337377, member: 30616"]Received new software to update my unit, hopefully this will resolve the issue with the cooled seats.
Will update after I have installed.[/QUOTE]

Come on man, you're not that naïve. That's just a BS response because they have no control over their shipping factory. Those devices are made in bulk. Software loaded, and set aside.

I would agree with you 100 percent.

Except I’ve been working with them and they literally are testing and retesting with engineers in China on a daily basis.

It’s true how much they are working out the kinks.

All I know is mine shipped in 4 weeks. Then they got a run of orders... and based on my feedback they made a number of firmware revisions.... and I am expecting they want to have a “final” firmware installed on all the units before the ship again. Why? Because they would be inundated with people clamoring to try to update their device and it would turn into a mess.

That’s my honest guess.

Look at it this way.... I worked out 90 percent of the kinks for you and I’m still trying to get us a camera button that overrides on any screen. Stay tuned.

This tweak from Guy makes the screen MUCH CLEARER. Fixes the fuzzy sync screen as well. Huge improvement! This tweak didn't come from Phoenix so use at your own risk but haven't seen any issues and don't see how increasing the refresh rate would cause any. Thanks Guy!

Go to settings

System info. Press and hold on the screen.

Enter code 7890.

Then under system settings. Scroll down until you see screen frequency. Change to high.

Save and reboot.

2 questions...

1. Does anyone have pics or video of the updated radio controls?

2. Will the updates be pre installed on newly built/shipped units?
Here it is

I still have factory screen protector on screen so little fuzzy

I would like to say use should already be on unit when new shipments
