It has been announced that Ford will not be releasing the Ranger Raptor here in the states for this year and possibly longer. Does anyone have experience with shipping vehicles from overseas thus it has been available over in Asia I believe? Would it be allowed to be plated here or would America not allow it due to the ******** emissions regulations and so on? Just wondering if this is a possible option. Here's a nice run down video more recent on this rig.

To tag it for street use you would need to meet any safety requirements for USA use that the vehicle doesn't meet. IE Glass, lights, emissions, etc etc etc

Now...maybe...if you just want to use it for ORV only, you could bring it here and trailer it to your fun spot.

Maybe you could get a DL off-shore, plated off-shore, and drive in the USA. Got any friends with an address in Mexico?

So far all I've seen are right side drive Ranger Raptor's. There was a spy video from Car and Driver Magazine back in June 2018 talking about a left side drive Raptor testing in the US with a possible 2021 release. But your video is more updated so who really knows at this point?

I do know someone who has bought a new Ranger and is having Raptor parts ship from Australia. It won't be a real Ranger Raptor of course I believe there is a whole different chassis for the Ranger Raptor but it will have the look and since the guy does custom builds it will most likely be just as capable. Personally I can't wait to see how it turns out :)

No friends in Mexico and no this definitely would be an everyday driver.

I have a buddy who sells high end car gears and deals overseas. He said he heard there are issues with the engine in this RapRanger. Maybe he's on to why this release got held up.

These ass clowns need me to test drive that thing. That guy could hardly back out of his parking spot wtf.

But seriously that thing looks money imo and if it can perform close to similar as a normal rap and even get 25mpg I'd say they have a huge market on their hands.

Right hand drive would be a good mail vehicle. Claim you are bringing it in as a postal unit
