I’ve read them the forums but not finding what I’m after. I’ve installed Rigid Radiance POD lights with an amber back light and looking for best place to get power for the small amber lights so they come on with running lights or daytime running lights.

Any guidance is appreciated...

Thanks in advance

I pulled mine from the amber running light on the front fender flare, easy to trace the wire from under the truck and tap into the lead.

For anyone looking for the answer, use the blue wire to tap into from the fender light. Very easy!ceb931a1627ecb9dc083c79a2bc421dc.jpg

I have not ordered mine yet but was interested in this as well...I see a single white wire... if you have 2 or 3 cubes where are the other wires?

I think he only wanted the amber cubes to come on, assume there's a single white wire like the photo on both sides.

I used splice connectors like that on sports cars without trouble and had many years of service. But I used those on a Jeep once and wished I hadn't. In my opinion they are not a good choice on a vehicle that might ever see high water. If you decided to use those on a 4x4 I suggest some attention be paid to water proofing them.

Ah was thinking the amber backlight not a full amber cube. With the radiance cubes I wasn’t sure if there were wires for both the backlight and actual white LED.

On the rigid radiance pods there are 2 hot leads, one for the backlight and one for the led bulbs, you can wire them together or do as I did and have the amber backlights run with the truck running lights and the led bulbs to run with the up fitter switch

I ordered mine with a harness. So the Main power source for the light goes back to the battery area and is tied into the uplifter switches. This wire was just for the amber backlighting.

Correct. These just go to the white wire on the cubes.

I agree with the taps, I had multiple wranglers before I got into Raptors. I put multiple layers of electrical tape over the connector. I think it will be fine as I learned my lesson with high water on my last Raptor.
