Should you WAX the factory decals?

Normally, I try to avoid WAXING any decals on a car, but there always seems to be some carry over. So far, it is never an issue. Which led me to wonder if I should just wax them to begin with?

In addition to a standard carnuba paste wax, i plan on using the new MEQUIRES HYBRID SPRAY WAX. Being a spray wax, I am certain some will get on the stickers.

Any thoughts.

Would definitely wax over the decals. Majority of the synthetic waxes won’t leave any white residue or anything if built up on the edges of the decals so you are good to go.

I would. Just stay away from the edges so you don’t get any build up. Especially with paste waxes.

Not sure if the wax will change sheen on the decals. I don’t have decals so I don’t know.

Def coat them with something to protect then from uv and the elements. Most Vinyl stickers has a 5 year life span if you park your truck outside.
