I swapped the passenger side axle on my 2010 this weekend. Here’s some pics of the carnage. Took a while to clean and inspect the rear to make sure all the metal was cleaned out and that the carrier was still in good shape then added cheap oil, drive it around to get it hot, then drained/reinspect, and refilled with good oil.

@RDFTS frame cut bumper time?

Nope, I did that with my first frame. Don't plan on it with the 2nd one. Had to remove the bumper to install the Forged Off-Road front bump stops and one bolt on the bumper would not come loose, so had to cut it off. Installed a larger transmission cooler too tonight and found out that my transmission fluid was BLACK and smelled burnt. Getting an oil change and brake fluid changed out next week at the dealership and now adding to flush the transmission too. Prepping for Baja in 3 weeks! Bed is coming off tomorrow night, well partly.
