Wow....just got word el Raptor is in the county I live in.(San Antonio, BexarCounty)

Built 2/08- Shipped 2/11 and already in the area. Amazing!

TODAY IS THE DAY! Raptor delivered to the dealership yesterday, I got the call this morning. (Amazingly, FP chat said the truck was still on site at Dearborn yesterday at 4pm -- Though in their defense I could throw a rock at Dearborn Assembly, so that may have actually been true)

Trying to clear my calendar this afternoon to leave a little early to pick her up. I'll post some pictures when I do.

The 14 month wait is almost over!

Ford tracking showed my Raptor awaiting shipment. I contacted FP and they said it had been assigned a transport truck for delivery at 1:45 today. Checked back to tracking an hour later to see if the status had been updated. It definitely was - it now shows it back in production... WTF !!

Whelp, the journey is finally at its conclusion. Truck is (tightly) in my garage! I haven't done more than take it for a spin around the neighborhood while my five year old sat on my lap and steered. I had to get back online and finish up the day since I left early to get the truck.

But like everyone else who gets theirs, this thing is badass. It probably won't leave my garage for the next week or so, as I plan to do decals, paint correction, and ceramic coating. But I think I'll have a glass of bourbon tonight in the front seat as a celebration.

Here are a few photos. For some reason, the key sitting on my desk next to me as I type this is very gratifying, hence that shot. And yeah, that hog is a tight squeeze into my garage. Hopefully I can get out there tonight and clean it up and take all the stickers off -- I told the dealer to just do mechanical inspection and leave the rest for me.

Thanks. I hope you get yours soon, man. If it's any consolation (and I'm sure it's not), by the time yours is delivered it's likely I still will have waited longer for mine to be built/delivered. But the frustration will wash away when you first see it.

Ford customer service is still shit. I bet if I contacted them today via FP chat I'd still get the same slack ass attitude from Tom (Ray and Mike are much nicer) while he informs me my truck is still at Dearborn Assembly.

It's worth the wait though, but that's obviously much more evident from my vantage point.
