I changed my tire size using the google doc tire code generator through forscan and it caused the pcm to loose the trucks vin number. Luckly It still runs fine with just a CEL. Dealer is locked out of pcm aswell and They are ordering me a new one. ????
You must have changed something else also. I have made hundreds of writes and never anything like that happen.

Well that's a strange one because the PCM & TCM relearn procedure is a Ford service procedure and I've never heard of this happening. You didn't have a custom tune on it at all? Some tunes will re-write the Vehicle Identification Block in the PCM that can cause this issue but never heard of anyone having this happen from FORScan.

I did my forscan changes with the Cobb tune loaded. These changes went ok, does that mean the tire size change will do the same?

Whenever running a service procedure that involves the PCM such as the PCM relearn you should remove tune to the factory default until after the procedure and then put your tune back on to be on the safe side. Normal FORScan programming can be done with the tune enabled safely.

Note: I'm not saying that the PCM relearn wouldn't work with some tunes installed but the few minutes it takes to remove it can save a lot of grief if things go south.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will remove the tune before I make adjustments for 37s

I did some changes and everything worked great. But i couldn't get the reverse mirror tilt to work. Has anyone been able to get it to work on their truck? My truck is a 2018 btw.

Can you enable AUTO Steering Wheel Heater on at certain temps? My wife's 2019 expedition automatically turns on the heated steering wheel when cold outside.

It does that automatically when you use remote start.
